Emerson Electrical Foundation donates $500 Scholarship to Albany Tech

March 10, 2009 – On March 6, 2009, the Albany Tech Foundation accepted a $500 scholarship donation from the Emerson Electrical Foundation. Women’s athletics coming to Albany Technical College

March 5, 2009 –Albany Technical College is fielding a women’s basketball team this fall, two years after the successful launch of men’s collegiate sports at the college. The Lady Titans will join the Georgia Junior College Athletic Association (GJCAA). The GJCAA is comprised of 15 two year colleges and technical colleges. More than 1,500 earn Work Ready Certificate

  March 2, 2009 (WALB) - Dougherty County leaders hope a new designation will help encourage economic development.The county is one of only six Certified Work Ready Communities.
