Albany Tech students win big at Phi Beta Lambda South District Conference

March 11, 2009 – Six Albany Tech students placed in various events at the Phi Beta Lambda South District Conference hosted by Albany Tech on Friday, February 20, 2009. Phi Beta Lambda, or PBL, is the post-secondary division of Future Business Leaders of America. The educational association is made up of 250,000 students nationwide. The organization prepares students for careers in business and business-related fields.

The all-day event included competition in areas from hospitality management to public speaking. Albany Tech’s winners will compete in the state competition in Atlanta, April 17-19, and possibly move on the national PBL competition held in California in June.
