Requirements

Step 1: Meet the following requirements to enroll:

• If student is 18 and older, he or she only need a valid state issued ID such as a driver’s license.
• If student is 16-17 then they must have the following:
  • Valid State Issued ID
  • Withdrawal form from last school of attendance
  • Underage Youth Application (signed by parent/guardian) can be found on the Albany Technical College website and must be presented at the time of intake.
  • Parent/Guardian must be present during the orientation for the first 30 minutes.
• All documentation must be captured at time of orientation.
• After completion of 12 hours student will be enrolled in a course.

Step 2: Call or visit the Adult Education Department/Center at one of 7 locations.

Step 3: Attend and complete orientation.
