Job Description & Responsibilities:
Basic Overview: Warehouse Material Handlers are responsible for efficiently and accurately handling and shipping product for customer orders to ensure they are processed in a timely and secure manner. This position may require forklift operation. Warehouse Material Handlers are given extensive training for success in their position. Employees are expected to perform their duties in a productive and fast-paced manner while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and accuracy at all times. GENERAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Receiving, stocking, picking, packing, consolidating and/or truck stacking product to ensure that customers receive orders intact and in accordance to shipping time expectations while maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy. Safely operate and maintain all warehouse equipment and devices needed to carry out job duties Adhere to all safety training and Company policies Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) within the warehouse Adhere to attendance expectations by maintaining regular, predictable on-site attendance Clearly communicate with manager any issues or concerns that arise Meet or exceed the department standards for productivity and accuracy Maintain a clean work area, including the removal of empty boxes from bins or aisles as needed Performing other duties and tasks not listed as directed by management
Qualifications
PHYSICAL DEMANDS Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 12 hours/day Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching Requires the ability to regularly lift / carry 50-75lbs. and push / pull up to 150lbs.
Salary: $17 - $22.50
