Job Description & Responsibilities:

The Dougherty County District Attorney’s Office, Victim Witness Assistance Program Division has a vacancy for a Victim Advocate. Essential Tasks Employee in this position is responsible for, but not limited to: answering the telephone; assisting victims and witnesses; creating and maintaining victim files; providing personal support, referrals, court notifications and follow up services to crime victims.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with specialized advanced training in computer software or closely related field; with a minimum of two (2) years of related administrative experience, preferably in a court environment; or any related equivalent combination of education, training and experience which will provide the ability to perform the duties of the position. Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Human or Social Services or related major. Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia Driver’s License.
