Job Description & Responsibilities:
VAN DRIVERS !!!! Under the direct supervision of the Service Director, the Van Driver is responsible for the safe operation of the organization’s vehicle as outlined in the Transportation Policy and Procedure document. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Understand and adhere to the Organizational Transportation Policy and Procedure. Understand and adhere to the established internal unit procedure/system for the area of transportation. Completes the Van Driver checklist before operating an agency vehicle. Inspect van daily and record and report finding(s). Service van as directed by Club/Service Director. Clean interior of the van daily; clean exterior of the van weekly or as needed. Assure compliance to the “No Smoking or Eating in Van” regulation. Maintain and control discipline in the van and report problems to Club/Service Director. Maintain accurate reporting records. Obey all traffic laws. Follow all policies and procedures. Complete First Aid report on all accidents that occur in the van. Attend staff meetings as requested. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Must be 25 years of age. • Must have a clean Class C Georgia Driver’s License (passenger endorsement). • Must be able to communicate effectively with adults and youth.
