Job Description & Responsibilities:
The Technology Specialist is responsible for providing technical support to administrators, staff and students by maintaining all computer software, hardware, network equipment and peripherals. Demonstrate prompt and regular attendance. Troubleshooting problems with mobile devices and computer hardware. Troubleshooting problems with computer software. Troubleshooting problems with Interactive panels. Troubleshooting problems with LCD projectors. Troubleshooting problems with IP cameras. Installation of network hardware and cabling. Maintains the security and integrity of the network. Works cooperatively with fellow technology staff to complete district initiatives. Utilize Technology Work Order system to efficiently perform job tasks. Ensures that software programs work appropriately. Performs additional duties as designated by the Technology Director Clean filters on LCD projectors. Clean computer hardware. Organize Chromebooks for school year. Set up and configure computer labs for school year. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma Demonstrated proficiency in the operation and repair of computer hardware and software
