Job Description & Responsibilities:
The Child Care Assistant assists the classroom teachers in all aspects of the program helping create a total learning environment for the individual needs of each child. The assistant is also responsible for classroom, center and equipment cleanliness in order to meet nurturing and physical care responsibilities of the children.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED (Required) Non Degree Program in high school coursework in the Early Childhood Education Career Pathway (Preferred) EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 1 - 2 years Assisting or teaching children (Required) CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSURES Required Certifications/Licensures: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) obtained with 1 year of hire, Satisfactory Criminal Records Check determination (Cogent)
