Job Description & Responsibilities:
The Strategic Planning Specialist is responsible for planning and analysis to support Careforth’s multi-year and annual planning process. Working with cross functional stakeholders, this role will manage the development of the annual operating plan including definition of timelines, priorities, initiatives and outcomes needed to achieve our business goals. This individual works directly with internal stakeholders to develop and translate market intel and trends, user and client needs, and financial forecasts into executable plans. They will also support tracking the health of our plan to annual budgets and forecasts. This individual must be comfortable serving as an ambassador and expert, in the development and ongoing maintenance of our business plans and participate and/or lead business plan development.
Qualifications
2-4 years’ experience working in business development and/or competitive intelligence; experience in a healthcare setting is required Experience with developing annual and multi-year strategic growth plans, and user/market research Financial acumen and analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI) Excellent communication skills: listening, verbal, written, and presentation Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills Must be a self-starter and very proactive, curious, and a problem solver Ability to communicate with confidence, build relationships through inspiring trust and sharing information and be able to challenge assumptions.
