Job Description & Responsibilities:

Establish work schedules based on approved number of staff and approved hours. Assign duties to staff in accordance with acceptable CNS procedures. Required to follow published menu or have an alternate approved menu for use at site (notify Central Office of any changes). Complete as required, orderings of food, supplies, etc. subject to budget constraints. Required to be on-site during meal service. Monitor equipment to assure it is maintained in good repair. Supervise collection of all revenue for paid, reduced, and adult meals and proper recording of such daily. Ensure that correct portion size is being offered to all students/adults during the meal period. Preplan food production to minimize leftover and waste by batch cooking. Maintain desired standards of sanitation at all times according to the serve-safe code. Work well with faculty and staff to be a part of the school environment. Attend all required supervisors’ meetings and classes. Be able to lift 50 pounds. Assist in the production of meals as required. Maintain a good attendance record. Complete all required paperwork in a timely manner. Perform other duties as assigned.
