Job Description & Responsibilities:

Quality Inspector duties and responsibilities Thrush Aircraft Quality Inspector's duties will vary depending upon experience and company needs. Here are some of the typical duties inspectors will perform: Ensuring all processes and procedures are in compliance with Thrush Aircraft’s Quality Manual. Inspecting products and materials for visible manufacturing defects. Reading blueprints and specifications to ensure that products meet approved design standards and tolerances. Using inspection tools such as: calipers, pin gauges, micrometers, protractors, conductivity meters, Rockwell hardness testers, and measuring tapes to determine blueprint compliance. Completing required company forms and documents. Identifying products that do not meet quality standards and recommending strategies to improve product quality. Accepting or rejecting finished products and discussing inspection results with the production team.

Qualifications

Quality Inspector skills and qualifications Thrush Aircraft Quality Inspectors play an important role in ensuring that our products conform to the safety and quality standards set forth by the FAA, so the position requires the following skills and qualifications: Problem-solving skills Attention to detail Technical skills and ability to understand blueprints, documents, and manuals Knowledge of basic math and computer skills Ability to follow rules and regulations Strong work ethic and teamwork mentality Verbal and written communication skills The willingness to work overtime to complete required tasks Quality Inspector experience preferences 1-3 yrs. Manufacturing Experience A&P License
