Job Description & Responsibilities:
Job Responsibilities You will support the Department by utilizing your expertise to fulfill the following responsibilities: Provide professional nursing care in accordance with nurse protocols, policies, and/or procedures. Function as an expanded role nurse based out of the Crisp County Health Department but also floats to neighboring county health departments to provide nursing support as needed. Provide nursing care consistent with patient’s level of need. Utilize the EMR system to accurately document patient care and enter billing information for reimbursement. Order and dispense medications based on nursing assessment and according to established nurse protocol. Will serve as patient advocate and refer patients to community partners or private physicians, when indicated.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university AND completion of a PHN course within one year of hire AND current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license AND CPR certification. No experience required. *A copy of your college transcript is required.
Salary:
$51,811.56 Annually
