Job Description & Responsibilities:

Southern Hills Orchard is seeking reliable and fastidious Parts Runner to join our farm team. Parts Runners are responsible for parts pick-up, delivery, and supply of the entire farm. Responsibilities: Ensure mechanics have necessary parts on-time. Cross-train in a variety of tasks to assist mechanics. Record and enter maintenance records into the record management system accurately. Manage the parts room for optimal efficiency. Make recommendations for correcting equipment inventory problems and other continuous improvements. Develop a strategic plan with leadership to minimize inventory and utilize retailers cost-effectively. Assist with security and upkeep of overall appearance of the equipment and shop. Champion a world-class safety culture by actively observing, reporting issues/concerns, and following all company and industry policies and processes. Participate in industry-related and regular safety meetings and trainings.

Qualifications

Valid in-state driver’s license and Motor Vehicle Report High school diploma, GED or equivalent. HAM Certification or HAZMAT Endorsement. Attention to detail with ability to read labels and identify mechanical parts. Basic mechanical aptitude. Previous related experience preferred. Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills. Meet the physical requirements of the role including ability to lift up to 50 pounds and activities associated with standing, lifting, bending, twisting, and climbing. Able to work nights, weekends and shift work, per company needs.

Salary:

$14.25 - $21.35
