Job Description The Kitchen Lead is passionate about Enmarkets food and beverage services and provides support to the store management team in meeting operational, sales and profitability objectives. Kitchen Leads are responsible for making sure the food service areas of the store are clean, sanitary, and well stocked with strict adherence to safe food handling procedures and food presentation. The Kitchen Lead provides quick and excellent customer service. Responsible for completing store level tasks including food preparation, customer service, cleaning, and all other related functions. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for communicating and supporting the company mission, vision, and values. Help resolve customer complaints and problems quickly and effectively. Willingness to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends and holidays as needed. Smile and greet customers in a friendly manner. Provide a quick and outstanding experience for all customers. Respond to customer requests in a timely and efficient manner. Engage each customer genuinely and thank them for their business. Responsible for ordering or assisting the Manager with ordering food related items. Responsible for conducting or assisting the Manager with cost counts. Responsible for ensuring that the proper amount of food is available, and that waste is monitored, controlled, and accounted for daily. Prepare food orders, including conducting a quality check to ensure customers orders are correct. Maintain high standards of food service cleanliness and sanitation, food quality, and food and equipment safety by following appropriate policies and procedures. Ensure all food service areas are adequately stocked throughout the shift. Assist in maintaining inventory records and communicate needs to Kitchen Manager and store management. Follow the correct vendor check-in procedures as defined in the operations manual and trained by manager. Monitor and log refrigerator temperatures every 3 hours and report any issues to Kitchen Manager and store management team. Complete all shift duties and reports accurately, neatly, and timely. Responsible for following all company policies, rules, and procedures. Demonstrates teamwork and cooperation with customers and fellow employees. Assume other duties and responsibilities needed to accommodate store operational needs. Must have a customer-centric, friendly, service attitude. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Ability to perform basic math functions (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing) is required. Ability to stoop, bend, stretch, reach, stack, and lift inventory weighing up to 40 pounds to stock inventory, sell merchandise, and while keep the store clean. Ability to hear, understand, and respond to requests and to communicate information clearly using the English language. Must have a strong work ethic and be able to cooperate and get along with co-workers. Reports to: The General Manager/Kitchen Manager and Assistant General Manager Hiring is contingent upon eligibility to work in the U.S.
