Job Description & Responsibilities:
Ebbo is seeking a results-oriented Junior HR Generalist to be an integral member of our People Operations team. This individual will be a fierce multi-tasker interested in several Human Resources areas, including talent acquisition, onboarding/offboarding, employee relations, culture programs and more. The ideal candidate will have experience in full cycle recruiting, employee counseling, and the ability to shift gears daily depending on needs. The Junior Generalist will report into our Director of People Operations. Duties and Responsibilities of Junior HR Generalist: Own and execute full cycle recruiting. Collaborate with hiring teams to understand needs, source candidates, schedule and conduct remote interviews, hire and onboard new hires, while ensuring alignment with the recruitment budget. Assist with employer branding, i.e. maintain Glassdoor page. Ask about Linked In, culture page? Be a strong backup for the Director of People Operations. Conduct exit interviews, answer basic policy questions, maintain employee handbook, assist with performance management cycle, assist with the creation and delivery of performance improvement plans. Provide administrative support to the entire team as needed (i.e. VISA/H1B/Green card process, ADP Workforce Now reports, presentations in PowerPoint, culture programs, etc.) Maintain job descriptions for the entire company and assist with FLSA analysis. Assist with compensation tool and incoming compensation requests from employees. Help maintain LMS platform; manage content, troubleshoot, run reporting, etc.
Qualifications:
Skills and Experience of Junior HR Generalist: 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, focused heavily in recruiting and employee relations or policy. Experience with an applicant tracking system is a must. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation). Exposure to basic employment law required. Proven ability to collaborate with all levels in the organization; leading with empathy, compassion and instilling trust. Ability to collaborate with different personalities and adapt and pivot communication style as such. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and PowerPoint; specifically excel experience with comfort in execution of formulas and analyzing metrics.
