Job Description & Responsibilities:

Essential functions of the job: Operates forklift in a safe and efficient manner according to company guidelines. Inspects and records maintenance on Forklift at the beginning and end of shift. Uses forklift to move material from the PSA to a pre-staging location or from pre-staging to PSA. Assist with Stock Transfer Order (for Door Materials only) Put-aways. Assist Receiving with Door Skins Put-Aways. Complies with company standard operating procedures, safety policies, and OSHA standards. Use of handheld scanners always to ensure accurate transaction for material movement (Bin to bin, material put-away) Pick/Put Away materials for Door department and retaining documentation for Door Warehouse clerk. Material rotation and ensure they’re utilized in accordance with directives provided by Schedulers and IC managers (collaborate with Door replenisher when located) Assist in the audit and maintenance of production storage areas (PSA’s) Assist Material Handlers in locating available storage locations when the regular bins where product is housed is full. Assist with unloading pallet truck Audit the processing of production transactions within ERP/MRP system and ensure subsequent material tagging and physical inventories are correct. Additional Duties: Consolidate like products located in multiple bins to as few bins as possible. Cycle Count areas designated by IC manager as needed. Maintain Organization of Door Components/materials.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience: High School/GED and min 90 days to 1-year related experience and/or on-the-job training. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to work well with others in a close environment. Ability to think quickly and resolve issues. Basic Arithmetic and recording (not required) skills.
