Job Description & Responsibilities:
We are a community development financial institution that has provided funding in southwest Georgia for over 20 years. We are now embarking on a new project with SOWEGA Project and Phoebe Putney Health System to provide access to food, health and finance in a food, health and banking desert. We will have an accelerator and prep kitchen for start-up and existing catering businesses and food trucks. There will also be a farmers’ market that provides healthy food to the citizens of southeast Albany and a market opportunity for farmers. This project has already gotten underway and is expected to be ready by end of 2024/ early 2025.
Qualifications
Top Required or Desired Intern Skills, Knowledge, and/or Majors: – BA, BS or higher. – Familiar with all social media platforms – Software/Tools: PPT, Canva, Microsoft Office Suite – Business, accounting and finance are a plus. All degrees/disciplines welcome
