Job Description & Responsibilities:
Coordinates all parent involvement and volunteer activities within the Child Development (Head Start) Program of Southwest Georgia Community Action Council, Inc. This position includes responsibility for compliance with all standards, policies and regulations related to ERSEA (Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment and Attendance) within the Head Start Program. The person in this position shall ensure that parents and community members are involved as volunteers in all aspects of the program. This position also entails responsibility for increasing Head Start’s involvement and recognition in the community.
Qualifications
Educational Level: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field from four-year college or university with experience in program organization, social services, or adult learning; Background in Management is desired as well as a general knowledge of all the components of the Head Start Program. Must have an extensive knowledge of computers and possess social service skills.
