Equipment Specialist

Alexandria Insights is seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Equipment Specialist to perform provisioning and logistics activities in Albany, GA to support systems/equipment managed by Marine Corps Systems Command. Most activities will be performed at government facilities aboard Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany, GA – however, travel will be required to other CONUS and OCONUS locations. Duties include: Validate technical data and drawings for accuracy and verify provisioning requirements compliance. Prepare parts data in an acceptable format for Bill of Material loading into TDM Catalyst, resolve validation issues, identify TDM-Catalyst issues, and submit support cases. Assist with planning and management of spares, repair parts, and supplies for acquisition programs. Ensure technical publications are technically accurate, and comply with overarching directives and guidance for marking, distribution, and control. Monitor/manage technical publications throughout development, review, signature, and publication. Assess material condition of systems for IROAN/overhaul induction and sell-off. Review DMSMS reports and status to validate data and recommend solutions. Monitor PDREP and recommend PQDR solutions and responses. Conduct technical research and respond to DLA 339 Engineering Support Requests. Travel to support equipment fielding, technical publication verification, and perform other duties as required. Experience with Integrated Product Support element planning, and management and developing logistics documentation for acquisition milestones, decisions and events. Experience with MCSC acquisition policies and processes; LOGCOM sustainment policies, processes, and procedures; and Marine Corps maintenance and supply chain management operations. Experience supporting Command and Control, Tactical Communications, and Networking systems in various phases of the acquisition cycle. Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and within integrated product teams in physical and virtual settings. Proficiency with Marine Corps enterprise logistics applications, MS Office, SharePoint, and TEAMS. Exceptional interpersonal skills, “go-getter” attitude, and a passion for the Marine Corps mission. Strong oral and written communication, analytical, and critical thinking capabilities. DoD SECRET clearance is required.

Bachelor’s Degree; years of experience commensurate with the level: Junior-Level: 0 to 2 years of relevant experience; +4 additional years combination of education, professional training, or relevant work experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. Progress towards DAWIA LCL Foundational Qualification. Mid-Level: 2 to 5 years of relevant experience; +4 additional years combination of education, professional training, or relevant work experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. DAWIA LCL Foundational Qualified. 1-2 DAWIA LCL Credentials.
