Job Description & Responsibilities:
Position Summary: Under the leadership of the Director, Medical Imaging, the Multi-Modality Radiologic Technologist is an active member of the Medical Imaging team that delivers professional medical imagining services consistent with the strategic vision, goals, philosophy, and direction of the department and CRHS. Performs radiographic procedures at a technical level with minimal to no supervision from the Director. Conducts specialized areas of radiologic technology that include mammography, bone densitometry, MRI, and computed tomography. Maintains the qualifications to provide care for patients across the full spectrum of age groups: neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: Education: Requires an associate degree in Radiology or Radiologic Sciences or successful completion of a technical or vocational certificate. Experience: This is an entry level job that requires up to two years of work-related experience, or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Licensure, Registrations & Certifications: Requires current valid license, registration/or and certifications as an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Maintains a current certification in Basic Life Support (If BLS verification is not current upon hire, it must be obtained within three (3) months of hire.)
