Job Description & Responsibilities:
Sunbelt Properties is seeking a maintenance turn/renovation tech join our maintenance team that oversees around 100 multifamily units in Albany, GA. Responsibilities involve all aspects of renovation, upkeep, and upgrading of local apartments in the Albany area to include: Kitchen and bath demolition Take precise measurements and order supplies Install new kitchen cabinets, countertops, backsplash, and hardware Install lighting packages and new outlets Install new plumbing fixtures and appliances Performing apartment turns Helping with subcontractor scheduling and coordination Groundskeeping Preventive maintenance
Qualifications
Must have 2 years experience in residential construction trade, building, cabinet installation, electrical, plumbing, and/or some experience with renovations (basic carpentry, etc.). Must have a truck, personal hand tools, driver's license, strong communication skills, basic computer skills, professional presentation and attitude. Position is subject to background screening and periodical drug and alcohol screening. Must be available for after-hour and weekend emergencies on a rotating basis among other staff. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of standing and walking. Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
