Job Description & Responsibilities:

Provides outstanding customer service Works with a multicultural community. Maintains HIPAA standards related to Privacy and Security Performs a variety of administrative functions in support of the WIC Program Provides services to infants, toddlers, and pre/post-natal women. Provides low-risk nutritional counseling to individuals or group settings. Complies with state policy and procedures. Current schedule is Mon-Fri (8:00 am – 5:00 pm); this may change based on the needs of the organization Will work 3 days in Worth County and 2 days in Dougherty County unless assigned to work in another location in the district. Will be assigned to assist in (14) counties in the district Call Center attendant duties-scheduling of WIC appointments for multiple sites Responds to Public Health Emergencies.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED AND ability to perform basic office functions and computer-related duties. This position requires the ability to lift up to 45 lbs., and the ability to bend and reach up. Preferred Qualifications Previous employment Health Department/County Board of Health or Department of Public Health (DPH). Completion of an associate degree in a related field from an accredited college or university. (Please mail or bring a copy of your College Transcript or Diploma to the Interview—you must have an official transcript prior to the start date). WIC experience One or more years of experience performing complex office/administrative duties in a Medical Office setting Call Center experience.
