Job Description & Responsibilities:

Answers telephone and greets visitors; provides information and assistance; refers to appropriate personnel; takes messages. Prepares letters, memoranda, and other correspondence. Learn and Maintain the Fuel System Enters information into computerized databases. Gain extensive knowledge of the county approved financial software. Be flexible in working in different departments throughout the county when needed. Performs related duties. KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED BY THE POSITION Knowledge of modern office practices and procedures. Knowledge of computers and job-related software programs. Knowledge of departmental policies, procedures, and functions. Skill in the provision of customer services. Skills in public and interpersonal relations. Skills in oral and written communication.

Qualifications

Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with completion of specialized training in the field of work, in addition to basic skills typically associated with a high school education. Sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position, usually associated with the completion of an apprenticeship/internship or having had a similar position for one to two years.

Salary:

$15,001 - $25,000
