U.S. Coast Guard Academy Officials to Visit Albany Tech Wednesday

January 11, 2012 - Albany Technical College will be receiving a visit from Rear Admiral Sandra Stosz with the U.S. Coast Guard Academy on Wednesday from 11am to 1pm. She will be accompanied by Lt. Lindsey Seniuk, Military Aide, and Master Chief Lloyd Pierce, Command Master Chief.

The purpose of the visit will be to preview the Engineering Technology programs offered by Albany Technical College. Those programs include Civil Engineering Technology, Electromechnical Engineering Technology, and Telecommunications Engineering Technology. The group will have the opportunity to visit the labs for each of the programs, talk with instructors, and see a hands-on demonstration.

In addition to Albany Tech, U.S. Coast Guard officials will also be attending Georgia Military College in Milledgeville, as well as Marion Military Institute in Alabama.
