Albany Technical College Welcomes New Vice President for Student Affairs

Albany, Georgia - Albany Technical College is announcing Ms. Jerri Carroll's appointment as the new Vice President for Student Affairs (VPSA), effective July 1, 2024. Ms. Carroll brings over two decades of extensive experience in higher education administration, having held pivotal leadership roles in student services and academic advising.

Ms. Carroll previously served as Dean of Students at Central Alabama Community College, where she managed a comprehensive range of student services. Her career also includes significant tenures at Troy University, where she excelled in multiple capacities, including Campus Registrar and Associate Director for Student Services leading student services training, development and support for over 22 sites in TROY’s then Southeast region as well as student information systems’ employee training for the university. Ms. Carroll is in pursuit of a Doctor of Philosophy in Adult Education from Auburn University, reflecting her deep commitment to student development and educational excellence.
