March 19, 2010 (WALB) –  The people who direct high school students on a path after graduation got a look at one post secondary option Friday.

High school counselors, career and technical educators and career coaches met at Albany Tech to discuss the different programs available.

They also got a view of the career cruiser which can bring that information straight to students and help them decide if Albany Tech is right for them.

"We want every high school graduate to leave with a plan for their life and make plans for after high school graduation," said Albany Technical College's Pamela Heglar. "It is an important decision about whether you're going to go on to a four year college, a two year college or go to work right away and so we want to make sure the high school partners are aware of all the options that we provide here at Albany Tech to help students with life after high school."

The school partners workshop is held annually at Albany Tech.
