ATC Holds Information Workshop for Strive2Thrive Families

January 20. 2015- Albany, GA- Albany Technical College will hold an informational workshop for Strive2Thrive families on Tuesday, January 20, 2015, at 6pm, in the Kirkland Conference Center.

The purpose of this event is to provide information to families in the Strive2Thrive program about Albany Tech and its offerings. Families will be able to obtain information from Admissions and Financial Aid representatives on the process of enrolling and applying for financial aid.

Former Strive2Thrive participant and 2014 Graduate of the Albany Tech Drafting Technology Program, Jeanetta Miles, will give her student testimonial during the workshop. Afterwards, the group will be able to view Albany Tech's virtual tour and the event will end with a question and answer session.

This event is one of many initiatives of Albany Tech's part in Achieving the Dream Educational Reform Network, which identifies challenges and barriers which might prevent students from completing college.
