ATC announces Employee of Year 08/09

July 8, 2009 – Albany Technical College recently announced its Employee of the Year for 2008 and 2009. Joan Fowler, Administrative Coordinator, was named the 2008 Employee of the Year. Wendy Howell, Graphic Designer, was honored as the 2009 Employee of the Year. Fowler has worked at Albany Tech for 13 years, and Howell joined the ATC staff nearly three years ago. Fowler and Howell were honored during a luncheon in June, and each received a $500 check for her outstanding service to the college.

The Employee of the Year award is given to a full-time staff member who has worked at Albany Tech for at least two years. A separate Instructor of the Year award is given in the fall to a deserving faculty member.
