Albany, Georgia – Albany Technical College Athletics will host the annual “Titans Holiday Classic” on Friday and Saturday, December 1st and 2nd, 2017. The December 1st games will be played at Albany State University’s West Campus (formerly Darton State College) and the December 2nd games will be played at ASU’s East Campus HPER Gym.
The tournament kicks off on Friday, December 1st, at 2pm with Southern Crescent Tech Tigers against Andrew College, followed by the men’s teams at 4pm, with the Central Georgia Technical College Titans against the Southern Crescent Tech Tigers. Beginning at 6pm on Friday, the Albany Tech Lady Titans hit the court against the West Georgia Tech Golden Knights and the men at 8pm against the Summerhill Prep Blue Devils.
On Saturday, the Albany Tech Lady Titans kick off the day at 12Noon against the Southern Crescent Tech Tigers. At 2pm, the Summerhill Prep Blue Devils men’s team battles the Central Georgia Tech Titans. The last game on Saturday will be at 4pm when the Albany Tech Titans hit the court against the Southern Crescent Tech Tigers.

As part of the Albany Technical College Athletics Division, the Albany Tech Titans were launched in 2007 with a men’s team, followed by a women’s team that began in 2008. The Titans are part of the Georgia Collegiate Association (GCAA) conference and the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA), with several past players moving on to play with Division I universities.
