ALBANY, GA – Albany Technical College will be presented with a donation from the Georgia Propane Gas Association, Inc. on Monday, May 1, 2017, at 10 a.m. in the Carlton Construction Academy off Lippitt Drive.
The Georgia Propane Gas Association, a trade and membership service organization representing propane marketers throughout the state, will donate a Lenox ML193 High Efficiency Gas Furnace to Albany Tech’s Carlton Construction Academy. The donation is designed to provide advanced propane training in technical colleges within the state for improved safety training and consumer education.
The furnace will be presented to Albany Tech’s Dean of Academic Affairs for the Carlton Construction Academy, Dr. Emmett Griswold, and faculty members by Mark Holloway, David Timmerman, and Wendy Salter of Modern Gas Company of Leesburg.
