Albany Tech students win top honors at Georgia Phi Beta Lambda State Conference

April 15, 2010 - Several Albany Technical College students received first through fifth place awards at the Georgia Phi Beta Lambda 62nd Annual State Conference held in Atlanta April 9-11.

First Place Winners included: Gregory Henry, Business Presentation; Victor Grier, Business Presentation; Brandon Pinto, Public Speaking; and Erica Savage, Future Business Executive.

Second Place Winners included: John Passmore, Word Processing and received State Officer Award; and Erica Savage, Impromptu Speaking.

Third Place Winner included: Reginald Sims, Contemporary Sports Issues.

Fourth Place Winner included: Brandon Pinto, Management Concepts.

Fifth Place Winner included: Brenda Solomon.

Both first and second place winners earn a chance to compete in the national competition, which will be held in Nashville, Tennessee July 8-12.
