Albany Tech students win top honors at Georgia Phi Beta Lambda competition
March 5, 2010 - On Friday, February 19, 2010, several Albany Technical College students received first, second, and third place awards at the Phi Beta Lambda Georgia PBL South District Conference at Columbus Technical College in Columbus, Georgia.
First Place Winners included: Gregory Henry and Victor Grier, Business Presentation; Reginald Sims, Contemporary Sports Issues; and Gregory Henry and Kerpasha Davis, Desktop Publishing.
Second Place Winners included: Helen Knight, Hospitality Management; George Crawford, III, Management Analysis and Decision Making; and Reginald Sims, Sports Management and Marketing.
Third Place Winners included: Erica Savage and Victor Grier, Battle of the Chapters; Erica Savage, Future Business Executive; and Brenda Solomon, Hospitality and Management.
These top winners earn a chance to compete in the state competition, which will be held in Atlanta,
Georgia on April 9-11, 2010.
