Sponsored by the Southwest Georgia Certified Literate Community Program (CLCP) and the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG), the seminar will focus on the economic impact of adult education and GED® testing.

Presentations will be made by Ron Jackson, Commissioner of the Technical College System of Georgia, Beverly Smith, Assistant Commissioner for Adult Education for TCSG, other members of the TCSG staff, state school board members, GED® students and graduates, technical college presidents, adult education teachers and directors, economic developers, school superintendents and community advocates who work daily to increase the literacy level of Southwest Georgia.

The goal of the seminar is to inspire the community to become advocates for adult education. Designed to help you understand the challenges of the adult learner, the seminar will focus on the different reasons students seek a GED® and how those students play a role in our future.
