Albany Tech holds community, family and friends day

nws_cffd_09.jpgAugust 15, 2009 (WALB) - With school right around the corner for college students leaders at Albany Tech are trying to bring in even more new students.


Today hundreds showed up at Albany Tech's Community Family and Friends Day. Visitors enjoyed everything from a car and bike show to children's games and free food. They also got a glimpse at some of the programs offered at the college.


"It brings people in, it gives them an opportunity to see the programs meet the faculty, understand what we do see what this does for individuals future but it also gives us an opportunity to interact with the community," said Dr. Anthony  Parker, President at Albany Technical College.


More than 100 programs were on display today at the campus.
