September 24, 2009 (WFXL) - Albany Technical College will have at least 900 more students than ever before when classes start Thursday morning.
A week ago today FOX 31 News told you about Albany Technical College’s record enrollment numbers, and over 500 students have registered since then.
Albany Tech will have at least 900 more students than ever before when classes start Thursday morning. As a result, the college has opened more classes, but also capped enrollment in four programs. Automotive, Air Conditioning, Welding, and Business Administrative Technology programs are not taking any more students until the second half of fall quarter.
College officials say if students want to get into a closed program they should still take other classes at Albany Tech or a nearby technical college.
