New way of evaluating technical colleges

Posted on

October 29, 2013- Albany, Ga.--  The way technical colleges in Georgia are evaluated is about to change and today Albany Technical College spoke out about how the change will affect them.

From here on out the graduates at technical colleges are going to be evaluated for a funding formula which Dr. Anthony Parker, the president of Albany Tech says will encourage his and other colleges to graduate more students.

Last year their graduation rate was 67% and the year before that it was 64%. Parker hopes next year that statistic will raise to 70% with a 75% retention rate.
