Marine officials tour Albany Tech

August 5, 2015- Albany, GA from WALB- Albany Technical College is reaching out to local military families.

The college teamed up with the Marine Corps Logistics Base Tuesday to show military families what educational opportunities ATC can offer them.

LOGCOM Commanding General Craig Crenshaw says he was excited to tour the college.
Albany Tech's President wants military families to know the community is here to support them.

Dr. Anthony O. Parker Albany Technical College President said, "We want to support them, make sure that the person in the military has what they need when they come to this college."

"Prior to getting here, I knew the school offered a tremendous opportunity for the workforce and families. To see it and walking the grounds was important to me," said Major General Craig Crenshaw of MCLB.

The event included lunch and a tour of the college.
