Five Titans Players Sign with Four-Year Colleges

April 29, 2014- Albany, GA- Five Albany Technical College Titans will sign to play with four-year colleges during a signing conference on
Wednesday, April 30, 2014, at 4pm in the Logistics Education Center, Room 102.

Two forwards and one guard will sign to play with Concordia College in Selma, Alabama. Guy Barnes, Tervin Smith, and Jonathan Thomas will all be headed to Concordia this fall. Brandon Quarterman will stay in Albany to play for Albany State University.

Titans forward Lafonzo Smith, will be headed to play for Fort Valley State University in Fort Valley, Georgia.
Barnes, Smith, and Thomas are the first from Albany Tech to transition to Concordia College to play basketball. Barnes plans to transition to the position of point guard for Concordia.

Titans Head Coach Sylvester Patterson said several more players will be signing in the coming weeks.
