January 07, 2010 -Over 4,000 students are enrolled for Albany Tech’s winter classes. Albany Technical College is starting another quarter with even more students.
Over 4,000 students are enrolled for Albany Tech’s winter classes, and Vice President for Academic Affairs Joe Banker says they’ve capped several programs including Diesel Technology and Automotive Repair. Banker says it’s a 25 percent increase from this time last year.
“It’s good news for the area because what that means is people are making the time to come and do what’s necessary to have a better career and that’s better for the whole community,” Banker said.
Banker says there’s still time to register for classes as long as your financial aid forms have been completed and filed.
