November 27, 2013- Albany, GA- The Albany Technical College Titans will host their Second Annual Holiday Classic tournament on Friday and Saturday, November 29th and 30th, 2013, at the Albany Civic Center. Games begin at 2pm with the last game played at 8pm.
Besides the Albany Tech Titans and Lady Titans, participating teams for the tournament include: Darton College, Southern Crescent Technical College, Central Georgia Technical College, USC Salkehatchie, and Georgia Northwestern Technical College.
Several half-time shows will be presented, including: Albany High School Dance Team, Dougherty High School Dance Team, Albany High School Male Dance Team, and Go Hard AAU Basketball Team. Also, Rock 103 will do a live remote inside the arena from 2pm to 4pm on Saturday, Nov. 30th, to promote the tournament in the community.
The Albany Tech Engineering Club (E Club) student members will be shooting t-shirts to fans out of a shooter they designed to help promote the Classic.
Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for middle and high school students with ID, and children 11 and under are admitted free. Adults may bring a canned good for the Food Bank and receive $2 off admission. Bring a toy valued at $5 or more to donate to Toys for Tots and get in free.
