April 30, 2015- Albany, GA- The Titans Alliance, a group of high school students who are dually enrolled in Engineering Technology at Albany Tech, claimed the Rookie Inspiration Award sponsored by National Instruments at the World Championship 2015 Robotics Competition in St. Louis, Missouri. The Rookie Inspiration Award celebrates one rookie team's outstanding success in advancing respect and appreciation for engineering and engineers, both within their school, as well as in their community. Only two of the eight teams representing Georgia brought home awards and it has been a decade since any Georgia team has received any award at the World Championships.
