ATC students earn scholarship

June 18, 2009 - The Albany Chapter of Women in Construction awarded two scholarships to Albany Technical College students during the organization’s annual banquet on June 11, 2009. Christopher Etheredge, a welding technology student from Sylvester, and Nichole Jones, an architectural drafting student from Albany, each received a $500 scholarship.

Women in Construction Chapter Number 65 is made up of nearly 30 women in various construction-related fields. Each year, the organization awards scholarships to one or more students who are majoring in construction related programs at Albany Tech.
