Albany, Georgia – Albany Technical College will hold a Spring Career Fair Thursday, April 11 from 9 AM to 12 PM in the Kirkland Conference Center. Over 50 employers from the surrounding area will be on hand to speak with students and the public about jobs that are available right now.
“Job placement is our number one goal. We not only train our students for jobs that are in demand in the community, but we work hard to make sure that they find jobs with employers right here in our community,” stated Judy Jimmerson, Associate Vice President of Career Services at Albany Technical College.
In April, several other beneficial events for students will take place: resume writing assistance, a college and university preview day for those students who have completed an associate degree, and a special presentation by Wells Fargo for those interested in careers in financial services.

The Career Services Office at Albany Technical College provides training support for workforce development that prepares students for employment, improves their life skills, and advances their personal growth. Walk-ins are welcome from 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Thursday and 8 AM to 4 PM on Friday. Appointments are available if needed.
