February 13, 2011 - The Fourth Annual Albany Technical College FFA Floriculture Team Challenge was once again a success with 10 FFA Chapters participating and approximately 70 attendees. One team, Brantley County Middle School traveled over 120 miles to participate.
The Teams competed in Plant Identification, Disorder Identification, Problem Solving and General Horticulture Knowledge. Albany Tech Horticulture students hosted the event, proctored/judged categories and assisted with score tabulation.
The Albany Technical College Horticulture program and other Albany Tech Programs as well, were able to showcase educational opportunities available at Albany Tech.

Third Place - Tift County High FFA Team 2

First Place - Lee County High FFA
Second Place - Miller County High FFA
