Albany Technical College Lady Titans sign three new players
April 30, 2009 – Albany Technical College signed three new players to the Lady Titans team today during a ceremony in the Kirkland Conference Center. The players signed include: Jasmine Thomas, Mitchell County High School; Courtney Seay, Dougherty County High School; and Lativia Grier, Westover High School.
In addition, a ceremony was held at Worth County High School earlier in the day, where the Lady Titans signed Ann Wilcher.
The Lady Titans will launch the season this fall, just two years after the successful launch of men’s collegiate sports at the college. The Lady Titans will join the Georgia Junior College Athletic Association (GJCAA). The GJCAA is comprised of 15, two-year colleges and technical colleges.
ATC will be a member of Region 17 which includes: Andrew College, Georgia Perimeter College, Truett-McConnell College, South Georgia Technical College, Middle Georgia College, and Darton College.
