January 21, 2010 - (Fox 31) Flint River Habitat for Humanity leaders announce winners. After viewing more than a half dozen professional-quality presentations last fall, Flint River Habitat for Humanity leaders announced their favorite home designs.

Albany Technical College students, Edrian Mallory, Aaron Morris, and Raychel Price were the winners.  They received a certificate of achievement, a $25 gift certificate, and a gift bag. Architectural drafting students designed plans for three, four and five bedroom homes.

All were appreciative of the award.

“Even now I am still speechless about it.  It really really feels good,” said Mallory.

“I’m elated, I’m still kind of like shocked,” said Price.

“I was very surprised when I found out,” said Morris.

Plans are to use the designs in upcoming Flint River Habitat for Humanity construction projects.
