Albany Tech Health Care Division Holds Summer Capping and Pinning

July 30, 2013- Albany, Ga.--  Albany Technical College will hold a Capping and Pinning Ceremony for summer semester on Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at 12Noon, in the Kirkland Conference Center. Health Care Technology programs participating in the ceremony will include Dental Assisting, Medical Assisting, Practical Nursing, Pharmacy Technology, and Radiologic Technology.


Guest speaker for the ceremony will be Vicki Tucker. Recently retired from Albany Technical College where she served as the Vice President of Institutional Effectiveness, Tucker also served at the College as the department chair of the Environmental Horticulture program for more than 17 years.


Tucker holds a bachelor's degree in Agriculture from the University of Georgia, a master's degree in Business Administration from Georgia Southwestern State University, and a Specialist in Education degree in Adult Education from the University of Georgia. She and her husband, Richard Huckaby, reside on Lake Blackshear where she pursues numerous hobbies and activities.
