Albany Tech has eight programs on “Best Careers” list

December 30, 2009 - Albany Tech has eight disciplines on U.S. News and World Reports list of the 50 best careers to pursue in the future

Out of more than 100 programs at Albany Tech, eight made the “best careers” list.  Albany Tech President Dr. Anthony Parker says it’s reassuring to know the school is aligned with that report.  “If we can impart these skill sets to students in such a way that they can prove to employees that they provide value added…then these students get to graduate and they get jobs” says Parker.

The eight programs that made the “top careers” list are as follows:

* Landscape Architect
* Multimedia Artist
* Plumber
* Accountant
* Firefighter
* Emergency Management Specialist
* X-Ray Technician
*  Biomedical engineer.
