Albany Technical College Healthcare Technology to Hold Spring Capping & Pinning Thursday
ALBANY, GA – Albany Technical College’s Healthcare Technology division will hold the spring 2019 Capping and Pinning ceremony on Thursday, April 18, 2019, beginning at 6 pm, in the Kirkland Conference Center. Almost 40 students will be recognized in the following programs: Practical Nursing, Pharmacy Technology and Paramedicine.
Albany Technical College Features a Spring Career Fair Thursday with over 50 Employers Attending from the Southwest Georgia Area
Albany, Georgia – Albany Technical College will hold a Spring Career Fair Thursday, April 11 from 9 AM to 12 PM in the Kirkland Conference Center. Over 50 employers from the surrounding area will be on hand to speak with students and the public about jobs that are available right now.
Albany Technical College Expands Program Degrees to include E-commerce and Fire and Emergency Services
Albany, Georgia – Albany Technical College announces a new opportunity for students starting in the fall of 2019. A new E-commerce Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree and a Fire and Emergency Services Occupation AAS degree will be added to the program offerings. These two programs will be included because it has been determined that there was a need in our community for these services.
Albany Technical College Held Work Ethics Special Recognition Ceremony
ALBANY, GA – Albany Technical College held a Work Ethics Special Recognition Program on Wednesday, April 2, 2019, at 11 a.m. in the Kirkland Conference Center. This is the third year that the college has held this ceremony in honor of these students. Each semester of the academic year, students who exemplify one of the ten work ethics traits are recognized in this special observance.
Albany Technical College Announces Change in Admissions Testing Procedures
Albany, Georgia – Albany Technical College is announcing a change in their admissions testing process making it easier for many students to enroll in programs at the College. For many people who want to enter or re-enter College programs or for high school students, this may mean bypassing admissions testing altogether.
