New Program Chairs in Automotive Technology and Medical Assisting

ALBANY, GEORGIA – Albany Technical College (ATC) has appointed two new program chairs. LaTonya Harris will serve as the new program chair for the Medical Assisting program, while James Miller will serve as the chair of the Automotive Technology program.

Feb. 2, 2018 - Albany, GA - Albany Technical College (ATC) will hold its first Employer Workforce Outreach event on Tuesday, February 6, 2018, beginning at 6 p.m. in the Kirkland Conference Center. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and ATC programs will have various displays with admissions representatives available to answer questions in advance of the meeting.

Feb. 2, 2018 - Albany, GA - Students and faculty at Albany Technical College (ATC) will join others across the nation to celebrate SkillsUSA Week, which is Feb. 4-10, 2018. The annual celebration represents over 300,000 SkillsUSA members nationwide and promotes career and technical education. 

ATC Chef Todd White Named as a 2018 Georgia Grown Executive Chef

ALBANY, GEORGIA – Albany Technical College Head Chef and Chair of the Culinary Arts program, Todd White, was recently named as a 2018 Georgia Grown Executive Chef. The honor was created by the Georgia Department of Agriculture, in partnership with the Georgia Restaurant Association, to promote and foster relationships between chefs and farmers.

Albany Technical College Foundation Receives Donation From GA Power Foundation.

ALBANY, GEORGIA – Today, the Albany Tech Foundation was presented with a check for $2,500 from the Georgia Power Foundation, Inc. to help fund equipment to expand the college’s STEM program labs.
