New Approval to offer Advanced Medical Imaging Associate of Applied Science Degree

Albany, GeorgiaAlbany Technical College will be able to offer the Advanced Medical Imaging Associate of Applied Science Degree, a 64-credit hour program, this coming spring 2020. The new degree opens a world of opportunity for the post-graduate registered Radiologic Technologist, registered Radiation Therapist, and registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist.

Albany, Georgia – Albany Technical College will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 18, 2019, highlighting the renovations of the biology lab. The event will be held at the Nathaniel Cross Health Technology Building (HCT), room 101, on the campus of Albany Tech.

ALBANY, GEORGIA – The Dental Assisting diploma program at Albany Technical College was recently ranked the #3 Dental Assistant School in Georgia for the year 2019-20. The ranking was established through after thoroughly evaluating all dental assistant schools across the state.

Albany Technical College Mitchell County Board of Education MOU.

ALBANY, GEORGIA – Albany Technical College (ATC) will sign a “Memorandum of Understanding” (MOU) with Mitchell County Board of Education during a ceremony on Monday, September 30 at 10:00 a.m. in Albany Technical College’s Logistics Education Center, Executive Board Room (second floor).

Albany Technical College Transportation Academy Careers In Transportation.

ALBANY, GEORGIA – Careers in transportation will be discussed at an event on the campus of Albany Technical College, Thursday, September 26, 2019, from 9 am – 11 am in Freedom Hall, Automotive Technology (Room 117). This 2-hour experience will be a valuable resource for high school students through a series of structured and informative presentations with hands-on opportunities. The arrangement will include six demonstration areas from Automotive, Auto Collision, Commercial Truck Driving and Diesel Equipment Technology. Over 100 students from high schools in the area will be attending the event.
